In summers, the most important and significant product that is listed in any monthly ration list is a 'sunscreen'. Yes, it is quite sensible that after global warming and environmental change, the demand of sunscreens has risen to an international level. But, so the case is with the problems.

Last summer, some complains were recorded against Banana Boat sunscreen brand that even with the applied sunscreen on the skin, there had been cases of skin burn and other diseases.

Therefore, the institution of Health Canada tested several products of this brand and also, analyzed the processes and the steps involved in the manufacturing of the products.

As the result, of this research and testing, Health Canada also examined other products and brands for the welfare of the State and made a list.

According to the statistics, The Health Canada tested 27 different types of sunscreens among which 18 are applicable for infants and children and 9 for adults.

The Results:

·         All the products were recorded to have approximately the pH value as same as human skin.

·         All the products contained the active ingredients that were mentioned in the list.

·         None of the products had the percentage of microbial contaminations which could cause any harm to the skin.

·         The products lacked the skin-harming preservatives including methylisothiazolinone and methylchloroisothiazolinone.

Following are some products that claimed to be safe and unharmful to use on the skin according to the authentic research of Health Canada.

The report concluded that there might have been some other reasons for the complains but, the quality of the tested products is completely fine and they are encouraged to use by the Health Canada to protect the skin from UV Radiations.
