Be ready Torontonians as the biggest Lantern Festival is here to set-in.
Lantern Festival is the way to celebrate family reunions. The activities include moon gazing, lighting lanterns, riddles, lion dances and eating rice balls.
This summer, CNE visitors are ready to enjoy the biggest Lantern festival. It is probably 18 days long and is going to be displayed this year. Brace yourself as this year’s festival is somewhat changed with “larger-than-life exotic lanterns, stories-high in stature” making the sky gives a touch of beautiful colors.
Enercare Centre Hall D has 17 illuminated, synthetic silk sculpture installations for the outsiders and visitors to enjoy fully each day. The festival is planned so well.
From August 17 to September 3, the CNE visitors will enjoy the never-ending Lantern Festival. I mean just imagine, wouldn’t it look all the way breathtaking?
Chinese artisans will create these beautiful lanterns with local crafting materials and it will be the product of every individual’s hard work.
Explore yourself and the surroundings as these Chinese Lanterns will hold some legends and myths about the ancient Silk Road.
