Canada is so blessed by the nature that it conceals in its chest the most spectacular and tempting national parks for all the nature lovers who love to explore the beauty nature has bestowed upon us. With the enormous size, multiplicity, and exquisiteness of the parks, no one can resist from visiting them at least for once. The hiking on the huge mountains, wandering through the sky-high forests, the shining glacial lakes that compel you, river banks sedentary, the coastal walking, the feeling of wilderness, the delicacy of the pristine nature, are just a few things that are in my head right now.
Leisure time with a touch of adventure can bring out the best within you when you are ready to give yourself to nature. For people planning to vacation in Canada or for the people who are already a part of this country, everyone should visit these scenic places. Though the main hurdle for all the students out there is that holidays are already over and you guys must be putting your mind and heart in studying, so better wait for the next vacation to start or the weekends, till then just read and make plans!
10. Fundy National Park, New Brunswick:
The park covers a large distance of eight miles of the beaches of the Bay of Fundy; St. John, connecting with Canada’s Atlantic coast. Not only the beach part, it also includes the long path and band of pristine Acadian forest. The Bay of Fundy is known to be the world’s greatest natural wonders. Every day when water of the beach rises up to 12 meters, it gifts some of its hidden treasures to the seashore in the form of fascinating water fragments and tiny & little marine creatures. Throughout the summer the park offers a lot of informative programs along with beach walks to make the most of your summer in this dramatic and spectacle place.
9. Mount Revelstoke and Glacier, British Columbia:
The park is located in the Selkirk mountains in the chest of city Revelstoke. Those who admire mountains and its wilderness can stop over here while traveling through the Trans-Canada Highway connecting Vancouver and Calgary. The best to enjoy there is cycling in the Meadows covering the area of a 26-kilometer pathway with beautiful wildflowers. When winter season sets in, the park becomes all the way more beautiful with white blankets over the landscape, perfect for skiing and snowshoeing.
8. Riding Mountain National Park, Manitoba:
The park offers a great adventure for wild peoples as it is situated in the Manitoba Escarpment stretching 100 km from the north of Brandon, present centrally in Canada. The mountains there are the home for wild animals like black bears, moose, bison, wolves, elk, and several wild bird species; providing with the scenic and breathtaking views. Tourist can also visit an old-fashioned town, Wasagaming, connected with the south gate of the park inhabiting the shores of Clear Lake. Besides its picturesque environment, visitors can also enjoy many shops, eateries, golf course, boating, and sandy beaches.
7. Gros Morne National Park, Newfoundland:
The second largest national park in Atlantic Canada is present on the west coast of Newfoundland. Its plateaus are supposed to have some rare rocks in the world that were once the part of earth’s deepest crust. The one who is planning to go there must hire a guide to observe these rare and ancient rocks some billion years old. The visitors fascinate with the magnificent glacial landscapes cover with stretching flora and wandering fauna.
6. Cape Breton Highlands National Park, Nova Scotia:
It is located on the northern side of Cape Breton Island with Atlantic on the east and Gulf of St Lawrence on the west. As the park mingles with the Cabot Trail Highway, the fearless hikers can enjoy the natural wind filled with a glimpse of wilderness. The park features the oceanic view, hills, river canyons, valleys, forest with its wildlife black bears & moose. From the southeast corner of the park, the Ingonish Beach is the dividing point between Freshwater Lake and the Atlantic Ocean.

The park was formerly known as St. Lawrence Islands National Park as it is present on the St Lawrence River of the Thousand Islands Parkway between Kingston and Brockville. Its main site is Mallorytown Landing and contains more than 21 islands. The trademarks of this park are an informative center, aquarium, picnic point, camping area, kid’s play area, theatre, traveling displays etc. Most of the islands offer hiking trails and docks so, it is all the way a unique park.
4. Jasper National Park, Alberta:
The western Alberta beholds the rocky Jasper National Park with high mountain peaks of Mount Edith Cavell of about 11,033-ft.-high, glaciers, and lakes. The subalpine forest and the Columbian Icefields are the must-visit spots in the region of the park. When the sun sets down and moon with its twinkling starry sky appear, the park looks like ecstasy. The park is considered to be one of the best-est places to observe the night sky as it offers a Dark Sky Festival in October. The fanatics plan weekend parties, concerts, camping, and exhibition with stargazing.
3. Yoho National Park, British Columbia:
Present in the Rocky Mountains of British Columbia, the park offers several waterfalls including Wapta Falls of the Kicking Horse River and Takakkaw Falls. The Takakkaw falls is included in the list of Canada’s highest waterfalls. Following the Iceline Trail which is the length of 20 km, you could observe some spectacular glaciers and mountains including the turquoise-colored Emerald Lake and Lake O’Hara.
2. Banff National Park, Alberta:
Another rocky park which is located in the west of Calgary some 150 km away. This jewel filled park is a must-visit as it provides you the scenic view of the Lake Louise and Moraine Lake you wouldn’t tolerate yourself from getting yourself drown in its beauty. The turquoise water, high mountains, and majestic chateau have all the power to compel you.
1. Pacific Rim National Park Reserve, British Columbia:
The park comprises of three separate units i.e. Long Beach, Broken Group Islands, and the West Coast Trail. The part connects with the Vancouver Island from the western seashore. It is a place of lush and temperate rainforest with all the tempting wilderness and coastal areas. The West Coast Trail and Wild Pacific Trail provide you some spectacular views along with the Ucluelet peninsula.
