The couple, Ellen and Portia, is a true symbol of what friendship is all about. They even asked Demi to live in their beach house when she is done with her rehab sessions, which is all the result of the July 24 overdose incident so that she can feel more lively and dynamic. It has been revealed that the couple really seems shattered after Demi’s incident and they can do anything to bring her back to life. “It’s no exaggeration to say Ellen adores Demi. It breaks her heart to see the singer this way,” a source disclosed to OK! magazine.

"Ellen told Demi that their beach house [in Santa Barbra, Calif.] is hers whenever she wants it. It’s close to nature and the perfect place to escape the pressures of Hollywood. They’ve also extended an invitation for her to stay at their L.A. place,” the source further told. It seems that the couple is putting their heart out for her. The reason besides beach offer is that Portia thinks that equestrian therapy might help Demi to recover quickly and that, “Both she and Ellen are determined to help Demi recover.”

When the news broke down about Demi’s overdose, Hollywood with the rest of the world joined to stand with her and show their love to the troubled singer. And it is more than just amazing that Ellen and Portia are here to give their everything for their friend in need. She has been discharged from the hospital on Aug 4th.

Shortly after that, on Aug 5th, Demi posted about her overdose incident on Instagram saying, “I now need time to heal and focus on my sobriety and road to recovery. The love you have all shown me will not be forgotten and I look forward to the day where I can say I came out on the other side.” Demi has accepted the great offer Ellen and Portia made to her and she knows that no matter what, she still has a home and has got some really wonderful friends whose friendship she can cherish forever.
