News Update: Trudeau Government: Finance Minister Announces a New Federal Budget for 2018!

This Tuesday, in Ottawa, Finance Minister Bill Morneau announces the Federal Budget for 2018 which keeps everyone in mind including Liberals to play their part with full rights in the 2019 election. The table of a budget has a complete scenario of the country including it in the woman, scientist, and even the wildlife area.

Morneau told the House of Commons in his budget speech, “It is a plan that puts people first – that invests in Canadians and in the things that matter most to them.”

The written document reveals a lack of $18.1-billion, included in it $3-billion for maintaining risks. Also, the Liberal government believes that spending money, even it is borrowed money, would be good for the cause of Canadians’ bright future.

Even this time, there is nothing to look upon as timeline is prepared.

Morneau told a news conference Tuesday when pressed for this cause, “We’ve shown to Canadians that making investments in them, making investments to allow more Canadians to be working, has exactly the positive impact that we want it to have.”

The Liberal government has two mindsets for the point of spending money. Firstly, they have to spend dollars on something that is near to their liberal lifestyle. Secondly, they can devote the money to other Canadians who wish to cast their vote confidently in next year’s October.

The budget shows that there must be a gender equality. For that more woman should participate in the workforce for better economy of the country, keeping in view the increasing population of aged-people.

Morneau said before the budget was tabled, “We know that the way to best impact our long-term demographics is to get every Canadian with a real and fair chance not only work, but to have really good work, and we start with women.”

The table also enlists some benefits for the employees which are five weeks of leave, insurance benefits with a cost of $1.2 billion over five years. the plan also aids the new fathers as it is seen the upbringing of children always come on the shoulders of mothers who eventually would lose their earning abilities.

Also, the number of woman entrepreneur must increase in the fields of trade, science, technology, engineering, and math.

For the first time in forever, the budget upholds the need of gender equality, keeping in mind that what would be the impact of such and such aspects on the lives of men, women, boys, and girls, combining with other factors such as age, ethnicity, income, and disability into account.

The Liberals are also taking part in lawmaking to preserve this gender-based budget-making process, obliging the governmental bodies to do this practice every year and keep a record of progress on equality.

the budget also shows the great part of the Liberal who promised to do better for collecting the data for the sake of good future.

No additional money for child care in this year’s budget as the Liberals says they’ve already done dealing with it in the previous budget ($7.5 billion over 11 years for two-sided deals with the provinces and territories).

Economist Armine Yalnizyan is on the thought that if childcare responsibilities are handled right then the women can impact workforce in a good manner as the wages-curve of women of child-bearing age reached a plateau 10 years ago.

Not only the document holds a power for gender quality but also smaller measures have also been covered in that 367-pages which include, money, repairing, maintaining the graves of veterans, increasing the tax credit for service dogs and helping people of post-traumatic stress disorder.

The other colors of the document include expanding the science through investments, the environment, setting everything right with Indigenous Peoples. These are the points which the PM Justin Trudeau finds necessary to look after for the progress of the country and the world.

The Liberals can say confidently which they want to say in comparison with the Conservatives.

The country has to spend $3.2 billion over five years on Canadian scientists and $1.3 billion over five years to make Canada meet the requirements of United Nation’s policy of protecting the 17% land and inland waters by 2020.

Dr. Eric Hoskins is the chairman of a new advisory council as the budget says. The man has left Ontario Health Ministry on Monday to vast the national pharma-care plans. Though, Morneau afraid that wouldn’t be prepared by the time of 2019 voting in an election.

The outwit act of Trudeau government to overtake NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh, whose first priority is to make the prescribed drugs available at affordable prices for Canadian globally.
