Here again this year, Toronto is all ready to have St. Patrick's Day Parade and it is going to happen this Sunday, the 11th of March!
This annual event of the March known by the things like giant balloons, floats, mascots, clowns, marching bands, all to celebrate the Irish culture.
The parade starts at the noon, starting from the corner of Bloor and St. George Street (near St. George subway station) and reaching to the east on Bloor Street.
Then the parade changes it’s direction to the South on Yonge Street and finally to the West on Queen Street, ending at the Nathan Phillips Square.
You can check-in the following stations by TTC subway: St. George, Bloor, Wellesley, College, Dundas, and Queen.
The parade may take one and a half hour to complete as the organizers say, which means, during that time, the roads near downtown core will be closed.

Devonshire Place, from Hoskin Avenue to the north of Hoskin Avenue

Bloor Street West, from St George Street to Yonge Street
Yonge Street, from Bloor Street West to Queen Street West
Queen Street West, from University Avenue to Yonge Street
Bay Street, from Queen Street West to Dundas Street West
Elizabeth Street, from Dundas Street West to Hagerman Street
Hagerman Street, from Elizabeth Street to Bay Street
University Avenue, from Queen Street West to Armoury Street
12:30 pm to 3 pm
Armoury Street, from University Avenue to Chestnut Street
Centre Avenue, from Armoury Street to Dundas Street West
University Avenue, from northbound Armoury Street to Dundas Street West
There will be 30 minutes blockage throughout downtown Toronto because of the parade. So, routes like Spadina Avenue, Church Street and, Jarvis Street will be closed all because of the parade and subway closures.
