A gigantic snow storm is traveling towards prairies which will cause Saskatchewan and Manitoba to be covered up with a huge amount of snow, around 30 cm. Any unnecessary traveling through these routes can be dangerous. Wait up until the weather is stable!

Many notifications and warnings have been issued for this uninvited winter storm.

Environment Canada says, "A Colorado Low will spread several waves of heavy snow over portions of southern Manitoba and southern Saskatchewan Sunday through Monday. Storm total snowfall with this system will generally fall into the 20 to 30 cm range, however, localized regions where easterly winds meet significant terrain features could see total snowfall accumulations possibly reach 40 to 50 centimeters."

The major areas will have a snowfall of around 20-30 cm and it can increase. While the areas on the periphery will come under 10-20 cm of snow.

Wind could be raging as it is expected to howl with 50-70 km/h rate which will make the snow more terrible and the snow blast will occur.

This will continue to go on until Tuesday afternoon.

Environment Canada says strong winds, increasing to 40 km/h Sunday and reaching as high as 60-70 km/h through Monday, will make for periods of blowing snow that will make travel very difficult.

This gusting wind with snow blowing like a beast will create hurdles for traveling people.
